S. S. P. M. Day School (English Medium) Junior College is an unaided Govt. Recognised Private School came into being in June 1972 for the sake of day scholars from the City, Shri Shivaji Preparatory Military Day School and Junior College's objective is to cater to the need of training young boys/girls of Maharashtra for careers in the Armed Forces as well as other fields.

Hence the goal of our education today continues to promote academic excellence, development of skills and chracter fomation based on values with a view of training citizens distinguished for their all round development and sincere commitment to the motherland.

The School is recognised by The Education Department of Govt. of Maharashtra and provides education for students from Std. V to X Secondary and Higher Secondary (Science) and MCVC Courses.
